Meet Will, the lion.

I’m sure you thought your daughter/ nephew/ cousin/ friend’s baby was the cutest child ever dressed in that stupid turtle/ pirate/ Cinderella get-up for Halloween, but you were wrong. This blond, blue-eyed wonder belongs to my oldest cousin Melissa and her husband Boyd. And he was 100 percent serious about his role as King of the Jungle. But just in case roaming Jacksonville for lionesses and candy got out of hand, he was sure to bring his sidekick Elmo along for the ride. Even as a toddler, Will understands the importance of the buddy system when out on the town.

All I have to say is that Mel and Boyd better sleep with one eye open because I’m going to steal this little nugget head, if I can beat my mother to the punch. This one just might make me rethink my capacity for motherhood.
